My hands have been looking and feeling dry, rough and red with the recent cold weather (especially when I had the silly idea of making snowmen with the kids with no gloves on !) and this cream instantly improved their look and feel. The skin felt plumper and more moisturised - so I tried it out on my feet too, as suggested on the website, and it does a great job as a foot cream too ! I love the fresh smell and it sinks in leaving the skin soft but not at all greasy. The charity aspect of the company is a big plus too. Great for feeling pampered. (Posted on 27/01/2010)
Loved it, loved it, loved it!!! Have tried numerous (and I mean numerous) hand creams over time for my extremely dry hands but none have ever felt as good as this one!. Hands feel smooth and really soft after using. Completely agree with other reviews too about hands not feeling greasy. I wasn't sure about the smell at first (bit lemony) but this grew on me and is worth getting used to for the end results!! Would definitely recommend and will be purchasing. (Posted on 25/01/2010)
Am always a sucker for anything natural and without the horrible over-perfumed smell so many products have and this didn't disappoint ! Non-greasy so I didn't have to stop work for 10 minutes whilst it soaked in, and it smells gorgeous without being too heavy. Add the fact that Laidbare are supporting charity : www.thesreepurvillage.org and you have a perfect product ! (Posted on 25/01/2010)
I am a huge fan of the Laidbare range and this handcream has just been added to my favourites list! It smells delicious and feels great on the skin-absorbs well yet doesnt have a greasy feel like so many other brands! I highly recommend this product- put aside the fact that it may be slightly more pricey than your regular handcream and give your hands a treat in these cold winter months- you wont be disappointed!! This hand cream is very easily absorbed, doesn't feel greasy or tacky.A little goes a long way. The skin around my nails seemed to have had it bad this winter, but are now lovely and smooth. It also one of the nicest fragranced hand creams iv'e used. (Posted on 21/01/2010)
Absolutely love this hand cream. My hands have really been suffering in the cold and this hand cream has been amazing. It is not greasy, absorbs really well, has a lovely clean refreshed smell and has made my hands so much softer. It actually seems to have plumped up the skin on my hands and they are looking the best I've probably ever seen them. Absolutely love it! (Posted on 16/01/2010)
Thanks to my ability to lose my gloves my hands have really suffered in the recent cold weather. I've tried everything to re-moisturise them but had no success at all - until that is I tried this handcream. The cream is wonderfully moisturising with a really fresh delicate fragrance and none of that "greasy" feeling you get with some handcreams. It soaks quickly into the skin without much rubbing in and doesn't feel heavy, in fact you don't feel like you have hand cream on at all. My hands no long feel like a piece of sand paper and are beginning to feel normal again. I'm also really keen on the social enterprise aspect of the Laidbaire products and love the fact that they have co-founded a village for woman and children in Bangledesh and a percentage of sales goes to support that charity. I loved the smell of this cream. It reminded me of being in a Spa and having a massage. Its fresh and the smell was calming. I thought it was going to be greasy when applying but soon soaked in and left hands feeling smooth and smelling lush. Would definately buy again. (Posted on 15/01/2010)
This is a really nice product which smells amazing. An ideal product to use in the cold months. I get chapped skin on my hands and this was really good on the dry bits, it was quickly absorbed and it didn't leave my hands feeling wet and sticky. (Posted on 15/01/2010)
